ABOUT ME
I was born in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil and started my martial arts journey at the age of six training Judo, Capoeira and Taekwondo at school. Early 90’s I was introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the same time I was training Karate Shotokan. After a long hiatus due to schedule conflicts, I finally got back to Jiu-Jitsu early 2000s, training under Professor Flavius Virginio at De la Riva School - Ilha do Governador.
I received my black belt in 2016 and currently hold a first-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a fourth-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and I've been teaching both arts for many years. In 2007 I founded a Karate school in Botafogo - Rio de Janeiro with professor Paulo Roberto Santos, chief instructor at SKIF Brazil. The school is still very successful to date.
Under the guidance of Professor Flavius, I've put together a system that will help our students to develop their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills in a structured, progressive and effective way. As a proud member of Halton community, I am pleased to fulfill my dreams of teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in such a wonderful place as Oakville and the entire Halton neighborhood.
